Hi everyone. I am just starting my first grow and wanted to introduce myself. I am doing an all LED grow with 2 tents, a 2x4 for Veg/clone/mothers and a 4x8 for flowering. I just got the flower tent setup today and moved my babies over. I started with 10 clones that I got on Dec 7th and have been vegging them since. Clones are 2ea of Wookie, Purple Jack, Blue Dream, Grape OG, 9lb Hammer, flowering 8 of them and keeping 2 back, wookie and purple jack, to serve as mothers for the next round.

I am using Roots organic soil and nutes and just following their Roots recipe with 1 addition of Mammoth P to the recipe. I just gave them their first feeding today and calling today week 1 of veg. I will be doing a 2 week veg from this point and then flower. The flower lights consists of 10 Cree CXBs 2700k 90cri running at 1400ma. Veg tent has a variety of old LED lights from a previous hobby,

Here are some pics, any and all advice is appreciated as I am flying by the seat of my pants right now. :)

I've got a perpetual grow going and I have found that I need just about 4 square feet of floor space to flower for every square foot of veg space.

Good luck, BigSteve.

Thank you! Little tidbits of information like that is really helpful to someone like me, who obviously didn't have a clue about that type of measurement so I seem to only have 1/2 the flowering size as I would really need, or twice as many plants in veg as the closet can reasonably handle (which is why I moved them out and will finish vegging in the big tent.... live and learn). I was having a hard time finding clones for a couple weeks, then all of the sudden several places had clones at the same time so I ended up buying a few more than I was planning on starting with. Next run I will have less plants and probably try out scrogging. This time I am just going to use tomato cages until I get more comfortable training the plants. Just transplanting them to bigger pots still scares the pants off me because I am so afraid I am going to hurt the plants.

Yes, I fed them their first real feeding yesterday, but a week prior I gave the 2 plants a little calmag because I was guessing the same thing on that particular plant, which is Wookie.

I'm running some blue dream as well, will probably be harvest this weekend or middle of next week. And that is a fine strain I know you'll enjoy that. I'm interested to see how it grows beside the others bc it looks like it is more sativa dominant , :?::weed::peace::bigjoint:

I am curious how it grows as well for the same reason. I have seen friends grow that strain in past years and it was never quite so sativa dominant. Then again I am also putting a lot of trust in the dispensaries I ordered from to be honest with what they are selling. Unfortunately I have heard many horror stories from present and past employees of dispensaries on how loose some of them are with labeling products :( It took years for me to find a dispensary I felt I could trust and has been around a while but they don't sell clones so I had to take what I could find from other dispensaries in the area.

Blue dream has a distinctive taste so if you have a good sense of that sort of thing you'll know after harvest. Mine are from seed that I got in CO and are crossed with a barberry brute male. But it is sooo frosty and stinky and beautiful. At first I grew from seed then I had equipment failure and thought I lost the whole grow, but I managed to monster crop a clone from the bottom of the plant and it took forever to get to this harvest with a mother and three clones but it will be worth the effort.
