So this is what happened. I put 6 white widow auto flowers ungerminated straight in 5 gallon pots about an inch down. Poured a cup of water on there after I buried them. Soil was ffof 30%, biobizz light 40% and 30% pearl light. Thoroughly watered the soil the night before planting and placed pots in tent under two 600 and 4 T5.
Today is day 3. I went down and brushed a little soil back and three of them popped up but no sign of the other three. Should I try to brush more soil back or just wait and see. Sorry I’m a new guy. Temp. Is 79 to 84 and humidity is 65% to 75%

Ok. Thanks. The 3 that I swept Bank the soil that are up. There’s no leaves on them yet. Basically one is straight up with like a stem with a Bee bee on it and the other two look like there folded in half.

Mother Nature is a really cool lady!! The seeds know what they have to do now. You did your part, time to sit back and wait for them to do their part. Then the excitement begins!!!

Next time just make sure you soil is moist, plant the seed NO DEEPER than a 1/4" (you want the seedling to be able to push it's way out of the soil).
If you planted them to a depth of 1", and then added water on top of them, you probably pushed them even further down..
Turn off the HPS, you don't need them yet, but 3-4 day's is an average time for germination, so the others still have a chance.
Good luck

Thanks. Just excited for them to come up. This is my first grow and I invested very heavily in it. Bought two 600 HIDS and 2 (4) bulb t5s plus soil and seeds and tent and fans and carbon filters etc.

like was mentioned before, save the 600's for a few weeks down the road. no need to pay for the electric right now.
