Help did i just kill my plants!!!!

I have a nasty gnat infection and i saw spiders webs so i panic and boil hot water and killed thoes fuckers and thier kids. However im paraniod that i might of killed plants too. Im depressed, if my plant do die i will pour gallons of hot water to make sure they die

If you are saying that you poured boiling water over your plants, then yes I'd say that they are surely dead.

What gave you the idea to do such a thing?

I'm new to all this, but boiling water I think is a sure way to kill or destroy most natural elements. If however you were a little tactical about it, you may be lucky. I wouldn't hold my breath though. Good luck non the less.

Didnt pour over plant, just around soil

i would say they could easily die from the boiling water ( future refrence do not do that ) but try to save them why would you assume they are dead and procede to kill them with hot water? bit odd mate

get em ou of the pots quick, and no more boiling water. RE-POT, would be a good idea and fast. Imagine ER or A&E, time is important. I don't know if coldish water will shock them even more... Or luke warm then a little colder...Get the idea, but check with someone else first ?

replant them into the trash, you should have thought about this a little more

just think if boiling water would hurt you it would hurt plants. they make products like neem oil fly tape and ridx for a reason

If I were you, I would just start over from scratch. Take things slowly & don't panic. Just remember to not over water & you should also keep a hot shot flying pest strip in your grow area. It's the best $8 I spend every 3 months to keep 1 in my grow area.

Get yourself through 1 successful grow before you start experimenting with other methods. Do a basic grow without topping or lst'ing your plant. Get acquainted with Mary. Next time before you do anything drastic, make a thread here & then let people shine some light in on what should be done. Don't fuck around & make a situation worse for yourself before you ask for help.

Been a day and the plants are still alive, the leaves that touch hot water had died off but the majority is still green is it dead yet?

Surely will i just gave it some earth juice grow and earth juice catylist havent gave them nutes in 3 weeks and i kept them overnight under leds and in the morning took them out for sun light, thanks for being the first to motivate me on this tragic issue. I will take pics soon, i will post up my before than after pic when i find camera here is how it looked like first

yeah i thought you were suppose put a layer of sand over the soil seeing how gnats don't like sand...
