Hi guys,as the title says i fucked up,i'm 9 days into flower and i was trying to balance the canopy a bit and i over pushed her, 3 hours have passed since then and the plant seems fine,i used 3 layers(or circles arround it) of electrical tape a bit tight! The crack is about 3 maybe 4 cm.

Its my second grow and i have no experience at all on this, should i take some clones asap and throw her away?if not will she have time to recover and flower correctly?and should i use anything else on the crack?

I'm sorry for the lights but i'm really scared to even move her,the last photo is 4 days older and it might help you understand her structure a bit better!

Thanks for any advice guys!

I would not mess with it any more, let it try to heal on its own. You'll know in like 1-2 days if it's gonna make it, if not like @westcoast420 said it'll go droopy and be obvious. You'd be surprised what they can suffer through and still make it. I bust up stems pretty bad on stretchy varieties at the onset of flower to combat stretch, it's a bit abusive but they recover.. most of the time.

Looks like you taped her up in a quasi-splint fashion, that's a pretty good reactive move. Watch and wait. I bet it makes it.

Just tape it up.
Electric, duct it doesn't matter. I prefer breathable medical tape or horticulture tape.

Get the tape ready first. You don't want to move the branch a lot and risk more damage. Put a stake in the pot to support the limb. Put the limb in place and tape it to the stake to support it then tape up the break.

As said, as long as there is some attached it will live. Sometimes a broken limb will shed a few leaves. As long as there is healthy growth you can leave it attached.

Edit. You did tape it. If the tape is tight like you say at some point you may have to loosen or remove it.

If the plant isn't wilting, you're probably good to go. I wouldn't wrap the stem so tight, I usually wrap them more as a preventative against further cracking. I cracked one the other night trying to force it into a tomato cage; the plant didn't even notice it seems.

Keep the wound clean and dry and you should be alright. Be careful next time ;-)

Thanks for the advice fungus!
The idea behind the so tight wrapping was to help any kind of connection the plant may do(i have no idea what the plant is doing after any injure) thats why and because its exactly at the middle of the plant between the main heavy branches, ofc i can loosen it up if thats an issue!

Guys thanks everyone,i wasnt expecting so many responses so fast!!! i love you all :**

Good work everybody.

Saving the planet one plant at a time!

LOL WTF
lol hell ya!

Instead of taping immediately at the wound, you can take a higher point and tie it so as to perform the same function without covering the wound. Even twin or sturdy twists would work, just be careful of some things that will eventually cut into and be grown around (sometimes nonissue.)

Like white said tape it up and it should be fine .....I've had full on brakes on huge plants and I just splint tape then wrap rope around it nice and tight ......just tape would probably do in your case but a lil splint before tape wouldn't hurt IMO ......these plants are hardy ....GL

Thank you for your reply white!
Will be any signs when i have to loosen the tape?i will use some kind of support first time tomorrow because shes sleeping now,can u maybe tell me the amount of honey or aloe i have to use if i decide to?
I would leave it alone now. Just letting you know for future use.

You may not have to loosen the tape. If it starts to choke the stem out then remove it.

For now the best thing is to let it heal.

I took a chainsaw to the head because of a nail a tree had grown around and I couldn't see.
