help leaves look funny

hey guy my plants have peaked at 34" and in the begining all the leaves had 7-9 petals but now all new under growth have 5,4 and sometimes three am i missng nutrients or what using hyphonex potting soil metal halide and room is 78 could they be root bound ? HELP or is this normal

It's impossible to give advice on them being rootbound when we don't know the size of the pot, and it's tough to say much about anything without any pics, but from the sounds of it, you stressed the plant somewhere along the line, badly, and now it's mutating.
