Hello guys! So I have 10x7 ft room with 6 (hps-600w) lamps and I am thinking to switch myself to LED because of electricity.
Whats it the best option for LED?
Whats the best option for LED in the terms of efficiency? What is the best substitute for HPS? Whats to you think about Hans Panels?
Thank you all so much. :)

I am looking to buy a lights. I am looking for best replacement for HPS with good efficiency. I have my reasons and its not about money. Im thinking to go on bigger project and here in Europe you dont want to steal an electricity. Thanks :)

OP said he has 6.
Thats right he did. Honestly he has 6 i would just keep them and use them why waste money and switch to led lights ? I would assume the energy usage will be slightly different compared to hps obviously but idk its up to him. I prefer hps, i know people who use led and im not too impressed on them and i think they're costly.

thats about as general as "i know some friends that grow some weed...."

Sorry, saw that you are looking to buy LED lights. The universe of LED lights that are better than HPS that you can buy is not especially large, which is why DIY LEDs are popular.

If production isn't happening to make you afford that little power bill, then I advise staying away from LED. LED doesn't magically make plants produce any better than HPS and the reduction of heat draws you into a complete diff growth pattern if certain variables aren't changed. Wants to get LEDs because of the power bill, but doesn't forsee the cost/environment/depreciation of doing so. Stick to HPS and use that money you'd buy LEDs with to grow a bomb ass HPS harvest. LEDs have potential, but not for someone wondering if they're more practical. They just aren't. Speaking from hundreds of indoor growers experience.

Ever tried CMH lights? Might want to look into those...
315watt they do pretty well. So I work at this store, where we sell all sorts of gardening equipment.. Started four varieties of sunflower on a 4x8 flood table at work.. one half the table has Solis teks C1 CMh and the other half has Solis teks A1 600W lamp DE.. The growth rate is obviously much faster under the A1 at 600watt but the 315CMH is doing very well too. Four weeks old from the day I planted the unpopped seed and they are already near four feet tall! I have had several customers pickup the C1 315 and they are getting excellent results. Personally I like vegging plants after they are a foot tall under 600 MH or HPS. they seem to be at just the right speed. any way we put it, 315 watts of LED, CMH, HPS, MH, florescent...it'll all equate to the same energy used. 1 watt is 1 watt

But good recommendation @Yodaweed

but every one will throw out a different amount of light at that same wattage, and also each one has a unique spectrum that is absorbed by the plants differently
This is certainly true. Becomes a test of which style can throw those watts at the canopy properly. I love this never ending science project

Hello! I dont know what DIY means?
Can you explain? The idea was to know a substitute light anywhere near the quality of the HPS in the terms of the weight of the final product?
Because I am thinking to go on 20mx20m and thats the lot of kilowatts. You cannot pay for them because they will notice the big electricity bill! You cannot steal them cause they will notice the losses.
Maybe I could just stick to HPS and buy a generator for lamps... Thanks :)
