some advise for you hope it helps it is better to stay with the CFL's unless you are using more then 500watts because the light is cooler and with a fan you can arange the light about 1 inch from the top of the plant and that will cause them to grow fat instead of reaching for the light if you do the math on the 2 bulbs you provided the first one gets 59 lumens per watt and the second gets 50 lumens per watt the higher you go in watts for a CFL's the lower you get in lumens per watt the best watts for a cfl is between 42 watts and 55 watts they are producing around 80-100 lumens per watt i like self balest CFL's they are inexpensive to fix and you can change the kelvin rating as you see fit by mixing the spectrum in like a 10 bulb system trust me i know because i make hoods and light systems but if you are using more then 500 watts it starts to get hard to compete with a realy good HPS the MH era is over the CFL's do just as good with half the power and are more customizable if you want to see pictures e-mail me at [email protected] hope this helps

PS stay with the CFL's
