HELP! little turtle shell things sucking the sap out of my stems

Plant was outdoor during veg stage, now is indoor under 250w hps and is 3 weeks into budding.

there are little grey turtle shell things growing on the main stem. when i take one off there is a wound on the stem with sap seeping out.

they look like white/grey barnacles

everytime i remove all of them, the next day there is more!

i dont want to keep plucking them off - it might hurt the plant

please help, does anyone know if these are caused by bugs or some kind of growth?

i can post pics if neccessary, but they look exactly like little grey turtle shells. with a turtle shell pattern

they are scales and a parasite to your plants... they are bad and will suck the life out of your plants... you need to get an insecticide or something that will kill scales, shouldnt be that difficult to get rid of them.
