HELP ME BRING ME PLANT BACK TO LIFE

I'm a new grower, and i have a plant that was grown just off sunlight and water and it was starting to get root bound bc it was planted with another plant in a small pot now since i've had it it's been in my closet under 3 cfls and it's only food is water and miracle gro shake n feed

Are you on a 12/12 light schedule? That plant is flowering. If not it's an auto. No more miracle grow, wait a week or two on giving anymore nutes. Also looks over watered. What size pot? What soil? How old?

Let it dry, develop a proper watering schedule, get some proper nutrients for flowering cannabis.

yeah it's on the 12/12 schedule and i don't recall it was just something my friend had bc the other soul was very old this soil is probably about 2-3 weeks old i was planning on getting new soil today bc your right it is very over watered bc when i was moving it to the pot its in now it was trenched bc it was in a bucket so it couldn't drain. but i think it's like a 2 gallon pot

why is it on a 12/12 right now?

yes you need fresh soil, stick with an organic if possible, watch out for anything that say "feeds for 4,6,9 months"

if your cfl they should be 100watt (actually 23watt, 6500k bulbs)

buckets you should look for 4gallon to 5 gallon to finish off, when its ready

Yeah that's no bueno. Drainage is a must. Get that down along with a proper watering technique.

yep, that's a must

also when you get new pots, make sure you add more holes in the bottom of the pot, or the outer edge of the bottom of the pot...

yeah that's exactly what i did to the pot it's in now after i took it out a non draining bucket. thanks for all the good feedback

You want to water with about 20% runoff, then let the pots dry some. Never let then sit in water.

get a 12 quart dishtub at family dollar or w/e, 5 gallon buckets sit in them nice, and they catch all your run off. put a couple of bricks in the bottom and set your bucket on those, so its not sitting in water ever. what ever soil you get, get a bag of perlite when you get it, and mix it about 30% perlite to 70% soil.
in a 5 gallon bucket, you want it to get dry as far as you can stick your finger into the dirt before you water again. pick it up when it gets that dry, and you can feel how light the pot gets. thats how i tell for most of my plants now, only ones i don't use that method on are the ones in 20 gallon totes.

Meh.

Looks like the miracle grow was working just fine. Just water logged.

Miracle grow works. If it didn't they wouldn't sell so much of it. The only reason I don't use it is the heavy metal content.

Like others have said, don't let it sit in water. Get a fan blowing on the soil to dry it faster.

I'm curious, why go from outside to a closet with cfl?

Looks like an auto that wasn't cared for properly. Follow the guidance above ASAP.

my grandma wanted to see if it would grow with just water and sunlight at my nanas and i forgot about it for the longest time and when i had went back and looked at it and saw how far it's come i decided to claim it and i live too close to people with no yard so that's how that goes lmao

I'm sure your grandma knows a plant needs more than water.

Why not use more lights? I mean if your over 12 years old and can afford them.

Sorry but the whole story just seems weird for an adult.

i think sometimes people just find a seed and think "i'll grow my own weed" without thinking about what they're getting into. at first you're excited about it popping up in the back yard, then when your neighbor is talking to you over the fence while you're standing over it, you realize this may not be the best plan....better do "something"....^ something....
