Help me decide....please lol

So I'm just about to start a run that will hopefully provide some clones for outdoor when the time comes. I want to give HSO a try and am limited to a select number of breeders, I buy over the counter at 420 Kingston, don't live anywhere close BTW lol, not into the mailorder thing. My 2 choices are sour blueberry and 707 headband. If anyone has experience with these I would live to hear them, both hydro and soil, but mostly are they potent enough to carry on the line? Thanks for any replies!!!

I would go with 707. Sour D and OG in the lineage, should be potent (not sure about the Master Kush in it, never grew that.

Though I haven't finished 707, I did receive some in the last group of clones a couple years ago (I seriously mean "the last", ever, until the end of time). Vigorous and you could pick up the OG and Sour D in her from a stem rub. Sturdy plant, wouldn't need much more than a single "bamboo" for support indoors.

I didn't finish it because many of the strains I had received in that group had the worst PM that I have encountered. I was bummed, that 707 and a "True OG" looked real promising, but I tossed every last one of them before "cross contamination" screwed all of my girls up.

Thanks Odin, and yup, leaning towards the 707 although the PM concerns me a bit for the outdoor grow. Going to the store tomorrow and pick out something. Just filled the system with bleach today so should be good to go tomorrow as well :).

@Budley Doright I do believe that the 707 has high resilience to PM. In that group of clones there were strains that had PM so bad that they looked like flocked Christmas trees, some not so bad. The 707 never showed signs of infection, but I didn't want to take that chance.

I've grown both of those strains from HSO, but just a couple seeds of each. The ones I flowered all gave pretty absurd yield-- I think HSO must breed specifically for that. I found the potency to be about the same, both are really good daytime smoke. I prefer more of a couch lock high so I didn't keep any of them after the initial run, but it's rare that I ever do. I think I would chose the 707 to do again, but really I'd put both of them in the same tier. I preferred the the flavor and color of the hash of the 707, but the bag appeal of the BD was better. I don't think there's a wrong answer.

Edit- forgot to add, I'm in soil

Just started the 707 and some mango seeds I had so we'll see. Yup I like couch lock as well :(. Hopefully it will be ok. I keep looking for the perfect strain, fuck it's been a long search lol.

So I put them in PT yesterday and they have popped, just over 24 hours and they've just started to emerge. I will try and keep this thread going but I'm very unreliable lol. I'll probably put them in the net pots tomorrow night. The mango seeds have not popped yet but they are over a year old and we're in my dresser door, we'll see. I really hope I can get these done before the warm weather hits cause I'll be fucked. Gonna start them under T5's and hopefully switch to a 1000 HPS on the flip.

Not quite as big as yours but here they are IMG_4015.JPG here is the nutrients I use as well IMG_4029.JPGIMG_4030.JPG I also use cold pressed kelp and Vitanimo, I'll start adding things in a week at about .3 EC and 5.7-6.0 PH, water temp at 66f. Let me know what you guys think re the nute ratio.

Just finished one blue dream and one sour blueberry. Both yield well and both have good potency. The blue dream has a real heady high that makes me stupid as fuck, can't recall shit while high. The sour blueberry is a bit weaker but only because I chopped early to make more room for new crop.

I currently have 3 more sour blueberry flowering now and one more blue dream. They are just starting to pack on so I have been slow updating my journal.

Sorry I forgot to add neither have much of a blueberry flavor but both are alright not keepers but alright. I'm hoping to find one with more blueberry on this new run. Hope that helps a little.

Yes the SBB was a close second. Hopefully the HB does the trick. It sure does seem seeds take a while lol. It'll be nice to get back to the clone runs if this pans out. Hopefully I'll be doing 15 or 20 outdoors along with my auto test runs. Still looking for a worthy auto ;).

Ok so I figured I'd update this as it's been 14 days since they went under the lights. IMG_4066.JPGIMG_4086.JPGIMG_4104.JPGIMG_4103.JPG
Going to flip soon as it's gonna get hot in the next few days and I was late getting them started. Also have to hook up a compressor to my heat exchangers to keep the res cool.

IMG_4160.JPG 21 days today :). The one in the upper left is a mango plant that is 4-5 days behind, I burnt them a bit with an overzealous addition 35%h2o2 but they are doing fine. Switching to two 600's tomorrow, one MH and a HPS :).
