Help! Need an insect ID'd

Came across tons of these living in the table above the rez. They're on the roots and in the tray, but there hasn't been any noticeable plant damage yet.
The pictures are magnified under a 30X loupe. They appear to have 8 legs, so we're thinking the hypoaspis miles (predatory mites). Are there any mites that may attack roots (not root aphids) or do other damage? Really hoping these are beneficial, but I have no idea where they would have come from. HAYLP!

Nope, absolutely nothing on the leaves. Did you buy your predators or did they just show up?

Insects find there way to plants sometimes when everything is clean I guess it's just what they do.

bought em..none now. Just playing with em to see.
