18 gallon tote i think, fits 10 gal of water for the water level i want
600w light
2 weeks into flower, 2 month veg

So i somehow managed to sever the giant root mass off of one of my plants that shares a tote with 3 other plants. My tote holds 10 gallons of water. So now I have a giant root mass thats going to die entangled in other giant root masses.

Any clue on what I should do?

Im currently dealing with the same except a much smaller piece, its decaying in my water.

I was thinking of adding some hydroguard since I have it, but im kind of curious on what will happen.

I use hydroguard on a regular basis so yeah i'll continue that. Probably best to do that considering too. I actually got ahold of a buddy of mine who's been growing for over 20 years. He said just keep going as normal and not worry about the roots. He has left dead roots in for a long time with no ill effect, he said u can cut off some if u can but if u cant get too much no worries. He said the roots will kinda just become like a medium.
The plant that lost the roots can still survive just give it what it needs and its gunna be sad lookin for a bit. Cut a couple leaves in half at the bottom of the plant to promote root growth so it can reestablish
