Help: Newly germinated seeds keep popping out of AG pods (pics)

I just put these seeds in my aerogarden a few days ago and they have sprouted, but it seems like the roots dont want to dig through the medium, and instead just push the seed up ward. Any tips? will this correct its self eventually?

poke a hole in the sponge, you should have cut the sponges in half, and make sure you glue the plant labels on, or you will get mold,
