2 days ago the p.h of my soil was between 6 and 7. Today its between 7 and 8, creeping towards 8. I'm new to organics, but I know that lockout is likely to occur at 8 and above.

My soil mixture is composed of (BASE): 40% lava rock, 20% spaghnum peat moss, 20% worm castings, 10% topsoil, 10% charged biochar.

(AMENDMENTS): 1/2 cup of kelp meal p/cf, 1/2 cup of alfalfa meal p/cf, 1/2 cup of gypsum p/ cf, 1/2 cup of neem cake p/cf, 1/2 cup of crustacean meal p/cf, 4 1/2 cups of mineral mix p/cf. Top dress with comfrey and worm castings once in container. I use 15 gallon smartpots.

I have a cover crop on em and the c.c looks great

I top dressed 1/2 a cup of oyster shell into each pot and watered it in about 2 weeks ago, in an attempt to remedy the situation, and bring it down to between 7 and6

Please, any help would be greatly appreciated.
