Help please. White Widow week 3 of flower (pics)

I have one white widow plant that just started its third week of flower today.
The other day i noticed the tips on some of the leaves near the flowers were burnt looking. Now it's on more of them.
I was using a 400 watt high pressure sodium but then I switched over to LED that I got from a friend about 10 days ago . It's a global star 100x6w panel. I don't know anything about it. But it doesn't heat up the closet like the hps did.

Soil
1 Led panel 100x6w @ 16 inches with both switches on.
12/12 lighting.
Watering when pot is light.
About a gallon a week
Floranova bloom 2 tsp/gal
Botanicare's Cal mag plus 4ml/gal
Ro water
Ph@ 6.3-6.7

did the tips burn before or after you swtiched from the hps to led?

Looks like a little nute burn to me but wait for others input.

Switching to a different light might have something to do with it. I was advised not to just swap out my HPS for COBs mid flower but I'm also growing auto's.

After. I didn't notice anything like that while the hps was in there.
I've always had tiny little orange spots on the fan leaves late into veg which I keep thinking is cal/mag issue.

Looks like your nutes are too hot. But, then again...I've never changed lighting half way through a cycle.

I bet she'll be fine once she's adjusted to the lights. Though, you might have a bigger cal/mag issue with LED's from what I've read. I'm about to find out myself. lol

You guys got any tricks for cooling a grow tent. Just got all set up but my led rose temps to 92. No bueno for buds!

Would dry ice cool better? it could also release some co2 and last longer than water ice.

You've got to love this question! I see it so often. Like there's a miracle secret. Why is that everyone thinks in a tent the laws of physics change? If your house was 92 degrees what would you do? The only 2 possible things open a window and turn on a/more fan(s) (more ventilation) Or turn on the AIR CONDITIONER! But there's a third option. Turn off enough lights to drop the temp and shrink grow area. No miracles.

The cost and effort involved in using dry ice will grow old fast and add up quickly! Better to buy the AC. Or be ready to turn the lights down as ice runs out. And plan on being near it all the time to recharge it.

Dont know if open windows in south texas would help any lol.
I'll try some exhaust fans first before buying an ac unit.
I was just looking for alternative solutions some growers may have tried to some avail but I guess you havent had anything work other than what you suggest.. AC units, Fans, open windows, etc.

In Texas oh boy. Ya better take the AC route! I thought of a fourth way. You keep the same size footprint but you increase the size of the room. This way there is more area for the heat to disperse. You'd lose reflective sides but that's better than overheating.

So is it possible that that is light burn?
And how does she look for being 3 weeks into flower? How long does white widow usually take to flower?

Would my 400hps give me a better yield?

I've never used led lights and I won't use 400 watt hps for anything other than reversing some females. So I can't give you an answer.

At 92 degrees I'm not sure you can tell. Because the temp is a problem and can cause damage by itself. That's heat burn so to speak. There's also light burn that's being to close to the light. But at that temp it could be either. What is the humidity level? If it's to low that can cause similar damage. Because it can suck the moisture out of the leaves and the worst spots turn brown. Every aspect is important. Sometimes you've got to give a little on one thing to help another. Ready up on environment temp humidity ventilation all just as important as light and food.

This always happens. I post my problem.. Then somebody hijacks my post and talks about their issues on my post.. Then I get information from people that is irrelevant to my problems. Not trying to be a dick but I posted this because I need help and then other people jump on my post to ask for help for themselves and I'm left in the dust.

Its probably not light burn. Looks more like nutrient burn.
I looked up the light you are using, Yeah your 400w hps would probably yield more. I doubt that LED runs at 250w at the wall and its just cheap Chinese diodes. So its not efficient, so if its not heating the grow space up as much as the HPS its just not using as much power or pumping out as many photons. Those are my assumptions, I think they are safe assumptions based on the limited relevant info the company provides.

Start your own thread man, don't post your problems in someone else's.

To the op, that looks like some burn, are you feeding full strengh with the Nova? Does it have calcium in it and if so what percent? Are you giving water every couple feeds or just straight feed everytime?

Feed every time. FN bloom 2tsp/gal and calmag 4mls/gal
One gallon per week. Usually feed twice a week. Half Gallon each time. Always PhD between 6.3-6.7
I never fed it straight pH water only because the plant always seems like it needs calmag because of the orange spots on the fan leaves.
