I finished my grow room and this is my first attempt at this so bare with me.I have two seperate rooms, one with a 600w HPS and one with a 600w MH . I'm starting from seed with drip irrigation , hindu kush + bubblicouis.

1- I have 'Advanced nutrients' 3 part grow (micro , grow , veg). After I germinate and plant in a 1x1 rockwool cube do I just use distilled water until a certain size of the plant is attained ? There is only a chart on the nutrients, no directions , and im not totally understanding it.

2- I only have a 3' tall grow room and using a 600wMH cool tube . After germination how close should I have this light? I'm pumping 500cfm through it so its realitivly cool a few inchesc from the glass. Would I be better off start out the little ones with Flourecents? I have alot available to me free.

3- I plan on water 3x a day when thier young during lighting hours , is this correct? How long do I let each water go for? Just until the rockwell is saturated?

4- I plan on using the MH room for a veg/mother room . Do I need a seperate irrigation system for the mothers and vegatative plants as to not over water smaller plants while bigger ones need longer pump times?

because im into soil i can only help on the cooltube question i have mine 8 inches away and if i didnt have 5 babies to cater for i would have the light closer but the light doesnt disperse over a large area enough to cover all 5. i have mine in the pots they will always be in so i dont need to transplant thus they are quite big. i believe 8 inches is good!! i would definetely stick to the mh u will have much better results. search utube for mr green he is a good hydro set up video!! i think u will need two seperate irrigation systems because yes smaller plants need less water and the nutrients added in each cycle are different!! and in general from what ive read dont start using the recomended dosage on the bottles start with 1/4th of the recommended quantity and build up according to plant needs. i hope this gets u started!!

Put your hand under the light if it is hot on your hand it's too hot for plants. As you move your hand down slowly it should only be warm then that's where to put lights.
