All sorts of plants can pop out of bagged soil.
Just pluck it and throw it away.
Gnats are the worst I think.
Thanks,
I now have like 2 new blades shooting out, still only the all organic soil mix is effected.
Summer for me is experimenting time, and i cant help but wonder what the harm would be in letting the grass live and trying to identity farther down the road. i have to transplant to 15 q pots tommorow so i have to make a decision quick!
-and yes gnats are bastards. especially when the bag is bran-spanking new.

I would pluck anything out of the soil.
God only knows what how fast it will grow and suck nutes out of your pots and
or what new bugs it may attract.

I've had my share of hatching gnat from brand new soil, it sucks.

It was a mistake at the manufacturing plant they put pot seeds in you soil. Its probably cow poop cows eat grass makes sense to me.
Just like they added gnats! lol
Overall it's good soil.
I had bag soil that was dry as dust but once moist, gnats.

Sorta like those pasta worms.
Where the fuck do they come from??

yep I got the gnats too. topped off w/ perlite n let em dry more between watering n they went away pretty quick. I read somewhere if the place you bought the soil from keeps their stock outside you are almost guaranteed fungus gnats. Fuckers.
