Help with discrete grow

Spend some time burring a high quality power cable if there is a utility connection near by. There is no Battery set up that i would recommend considering that even for a small grow you need considerable power for a 12 hour photo period.

Even an LED with a shit tone of high capacity Lithium Ion batteries would be tricky....

You can find batteries easily that are 5 A/hour batteries 3.3-7.4-11.1-14.6 ect. Volts. So you would need these batteries operating at the voltage drop over your LEDs. But you need to be careful with Lithium bateries. Over charger or undercharge ruins them. SO you now need a micro controller to measure the voltage and mannage energy in/out......

buddy... put a seed in the ground in an abandond field and save yourself time money and a lot of hastle. If you cant find what your looking for on RIU or any where else on the internet then im pretty sure that your not gonna be the guy pioneering this sort of set up.... no offence its just fact.

All nonsense, you can certainly get battery power to light up a warehouse of lights regardless of the type, the real question is can you afford or warrant the set up when it costs an arm and a leg and how much will it produce to warrant the cost.

Arctic and Antarctic conditions mean people use battery power and not generators, they are out there just do some research.

Cost, cost, cost....

A battery backup for a computer server is 200 bucks and it only lasts for maybe ten minutes. I cant imagine the cost of a backup battery that would run for 18 hours. Also it would weigh about a ton.

I second buying and burying and extension cord. Wouldn't be the first time it was done. Battery seem like a bit of a stretch. Deep cycle marine battery or RV battery? Good luck
