Help with H3ad gh 6/9

Hey all! I’m hoping someone can help out with the issue I’m having. My tap water is 280 ppms so I’m adding and in this order 1ml/silica, 1/ml cal mag, 6/micro, 9/bloom and growth is really stunted on some plants. Very red/purple stems, almost looks like nitrogen burn(crispy tips on the fan leaves and the leaves are dark green). I believe it’s probably my tap, I’ve been using it forever and it seems this run everything’s going to shit!

How's your pH, and what are your lights out temps?

Those amounts you state are for how much water? That much per liter? Gallon? GH 3-part?

With 280ppm tap water you are likely at a high pH and adding silica without adjusting pH, (if you aren't), will make it a lot higher.

Those little spots on some leaves in he second pic look like mite damage. Have you checked for bugs? Not that that will cause the problems you mention but best to catch them early and get rid of them.

I don't see any sign of tip burning in your pics and many strains will have red stems so it might just be the plants.

It'd be cool if those leaves were the normal colors! Hate to use the word, but they're "pretty". LOL

But, I'm thinking it might either be from temps getting too cold at night, or a nutrient deficiency. If it is deficiency, it could be from nutrient lockout, either from swinging pH, pH out of range, or from the TDS being too high.

That's my best guess.

one question: you are in coco correct? i've seen a few peeps try to use H3AD in dwc.

and one thing i'd change is ditch the cal/mg. H3AD is 1 gram/gal of epsom salt, not cal/mg.

like the others, what is ppm/EC and pH too?

can you pick up some RO or distilled and try that for a week or two and see if problem goes away?

Good eye! I just saw them last week! Ughhh I’m harvesting all the flowers today(they’re in the same room) and am going to start the cleaning and ridding of those boogers! Ahh forgot to post that picture. I’m keeping the ph between 5.8-6.0 I have to adjust everyday it does swing a little due to the silica. The ratio is for 6/ml per gallon of the micro and 9/ml per gallon of bloom no grow. I’ve grown these strains for years and usually they’re stems are green unless I’m having some issues.

It could be the cold it got to 52 in there. I’m going to flush for a couple days and try to warm up the room and see if they change. Thanks dude!

Yeah I’m getting a bag of Epsom and work that in. Ppms are 940 and ph between 5.8-6.0 it does fluctuate but I adjust everyday. I am in coco with perlite mix. I’m ordering a new ro unit today! It takes at least that variable out of the equation! Thanks dude

I would bet that has something to do with it. Cold weather changes the colors of the leaves like that. You shouldn't have any more than a 15 degree drop from your daytime temps. Get one of those small $15 heaters at HD and put it in there. Set it at 65f, and it should be good.
