Should I be worried Im pretty sure its just nutrient burn because i over fed my plant but could it be something else. I started to feed it just water with no nutrients about four days ago. My plant is developing yellowing around some leaf tips and some of the leaves at the bottom are curling up.

yes it got too much N and it might be over watered

if that soil is even halfway decent you shouldn't need plant food yet and possibly not for several weeks

Just water for a while, it should be ok. Have you switched lighting or moved your light recently? The base of the stem looks pretty underdeveloped for what is on top.

ya man I didn't pick up on that

that's a tiny stalk for so much foliage

I wonder if that could also be the result of high N and over watering? im honestly not sure

When I first planted it for like the first week it stretched because I had the light to far away from it maybe that can be the reason why the stem is underdeveloped

Ok, if it gets top heavy use a few bamboo skewers or something similar to support it.

When supported use a small oscillating fan to move air at plant level. It will help beef up the stem some. Not too rough though.

Stem is thin and weak and shit like that because the plant is growing in stagnant no wind environment, is my assumption/conclusion about that.

Pot acting like wall of china wind barrier.

Fill up pot with more good fluffy well draining soil up to the lowest leaves. The stem will root all along the parts newly buried.

=more stability
& biger root mass supporting same plant=higher root to shoot ratio=stronger plant
stalk will thicken where buried and rooted

About leaf color, yeah, she looks like she could use some clean water for the next little while. Keep in mind, what you fed in the soil can hang around for a while and be uptaked in a slow release manor. nutrients travel up to the plant through the roots using water as carrier, so each new clean water watering, it could still be uptaking and utilizing what you fed in the past that is still in the soil.. so clean water for a while is fine, it's not like watering with no nutrients and the plant will starve of minerals emediately. Besides, the weird shit you see starting on the leaves is with high probability you overfeeding and minerals and elements are reacting down there in too high concentration and imbalance, skewing your pH and screwing your mineral uptake Clean water is good.

fox farm soil shouldn't need nutes for 4+ weeks and longer if you up-pot proper

many people will bury the stem but I don't, just a personal thing I guess, but it does have some risk, although at that age its a small risk but still a risk

maybe only bury an inch and in a couple weeks another inch if it needs it again

I might be in the minority as many would bury it, id be fine with staking it
