What is a seedling? I'm looking at the foxfarm feeding schedule http://foxfarmfertilizer.com/soilfeed.pdf and it says start using grow big on the second week of veg. My problem is when is a seedling not a seedling? When does it go into the veg period. The rollitup.org faq section says a seedling is a seedling for 4 to 6 weeks. Then it says it's in the veg period. Is this right? If it is right should I wait to use grow big until week 6? thanks

my question relates to the fox farm feeding schedule and the rollitup.org faq. I want to know when is it considered week one veg on the chart for foxfarm and no longer a seedling. the faq says it's a seedling for 4 to six weeks and I want to know if that after 4 to six weeks I should start considering it week one on the fox farm schedule? You have 588 post........... and you still cant read a post and figure out what the op is asking.

Calm down gentlemen. As a general rule, a seedling is no longer when the leaves start alternatingnodes on the branches, as opposed to sprouting as pairs. I hope I'm not wrong and please keep the fighting to a minimum, the children are sleeping.
