I have not said anything about global warming on this thread or my personal opinion about the environment.............but you accuse me of having faith in my religion of environmentilsm? strange
Is that you're response?

"When you realize why you don't believe in Zeus, Thor, Mithras, or Vishnu then you will realize why i don't believe in your God."

I guess I just assumed that since you didn't have faith in a traditional religion, man made global warming was your religion. Am I wrong? If so, why would you argue against me, a non-believer of this theory, so vehemently? I'm curious. Is it for the kids?

As with all scientific endeavors, the burden of proof is on the ones who propose a theory. It is not my responsibility to disprove Man Made Global Warming, it is my responsibility, as a rational human being, to ask questions, receive answers, and formulate my position based on the quality of the answer. All the evidence I've seen is circumstantial at best, and downright deceitful at worst. Modern weather monitoring equipment has been around for barely a hundred years, yet the information collected in these hundred years is used to support your theory. Its not reliable. The green house gas argument is flawed to the core. The most abundant green house gas, by far, is water vapor. No model, computer or otherwise, accounts for this. Global precipitation levels are vitally important to the earths cooling/warming trends. We have absolutely no idea what daily precipitation levels are around the globe. Without knowing this factor, any green house gas argument is flawed. Ice ages have been known to occur on a relatively regular basis, yet this fact seems unimportant to proponents of this "theory". The fact that the earths temps rise and fall on a regular basis, with or without human intervention. The pollution aspect of global warming has been the most insidious aspect of your argument. (You and Algore). Without even going into the negligible amounts of CO2 we, as a species, have contributed to the atmosphere since the start of the industrial revolution, the fact that growing industrialized nations, such as China and others, have not been asked to curtail their activities while the worlds elite point the finger at the USA as the major cause of Man Made Global Warming, is despicable. If the burning of fossil fuels is so terrible, why not call on all the worlds nations to suspend indefinitely these activities. Instead, the answer is for the US to pay for its transgressions against the environment. How convenient. Its a sham and you seem to be buying, based on faith of your religion, Environmentalism.
If you could shed some light on these topics, it would be helpful.

I hate being so cynicle, but here goes.

The media loves ANYTHING, if it is bad. If it bleeds it leads!! All of these concepts have some established facts. All of these concepts have some junk science. But, one fact is the most relevent:

All these concepts are pounded by the media because that is what sells advertising.

And the Democrats because that is what garners votes.

Actually, all the R's raised their hands in the debate when asked whether they believed in man made climate change, except Big Fred.

Yes you are wrong and you owe me an apology lol. I wasn't vehemently argueing against you I was orginally refuting justins post and questioning his sources credentials on this topic, and then you jumped in there and started to rant about Al Gore, religion, environmentilism, and Israel

So sorry sir. Didn't jump in anywhere, I've been hiding behind the corner all along. Like a spider waiting for a fly. Anyway, this is a global warming thread. What global warming conversation would be complete without mentioning Algore and environmentalism as religion? Israel? I merely commented on your inflammatory statements regarding Israels right to exist. Would you like to continue?

I never said israel didn't have the right to exist.......did you read my post....I support a two state solution just like the U.S. government does

Exactly right. I guess the same way you could support a non-existent Man Made Global Warming theory. You've got a good imagination but are lacking in common sense.

I don't live in the North I live in Northern Midwest. Everyone around me is like "Man that global warming is making these crazy temperature changes" and "Wheres the snow and the Icy Lakes we used to have?". Watch the news. Everyday they show todays weather and the records of the day. When we keep breaking records for high temps I might worry. We arent though. Sometimes yeah but come on. In the eighties there WAS a Global Cooling scare goo to the nasa website. There is plenty of info to show you. Give me a few hours of research and excel to make a chart look so dramatic and we can slap it on the news and call it global warming. The real info is there though. It looks just like the human heartbeat. Core samples from billions of years in the arctic and Anarctic both show SAME levels of C02, did we do that then too? They go up and down. Just like all other gases. Sunspots is another thing to research, can you stop sunspots...no you can't even you Al Gore. I have done all this research and I would say the ONLY thing we are really contributing to global warming is. A minute amount of C02 and land use. Many trees is what takes our C02 and other impurities out of the atmosphere. When they are replaced by Grazing fields for animals and concrete buildings etc. In the seventies and eighties there was a major drop in tempurature and C02 just kept on goin. And until it started goin back up there big show was THE GLOBAL COOLING SCARE!!! OH NO!!! Cmon people just look some stuff up.
