Can you grow a plant from start to finish JUST with CFL's?, and if not what lights do you use for different stages of developement?

Yes you can. Just make sure to use daylight CFL bulbs for veg with a 6500K color spectrum, and soft white or warm white CFLs for flowering. Keep the bulbs within an inch or two of the tops and use some side lighting under the plant canopy. If you use enough light you will have good results. All the HID folks claim you can't but you surly can grow nice buds with CFL! :hump:

I use a small T8 fixture for side lighting, it does the trick!

I basically used the 2700k bulbs throughout my grow also. But if i was going to need to make a veg room then i would probably use the 6500k bulbs. Either way you will end up with some nice buds.
