A delegation of religious activists from the United States is meeting with officials in Tehran, Iran., to generate dialogue and promote peace between the two nations. It has received press in Iran, as found in the following Tehran Times article:

The delegation consists of members of the American Friends Service Committee, the Mennonite Central Committee, Pax Christi, USA, the National Council of Churches, USA, the Friends Committee on National Legislation, the United Methodist Church, the Episcopal Church, USA and Sojourners.
