Hi, everyone how are you all doing? I have 8 plants grown from seed under 10 6500k cfl in a grow box with about 3-4 cubic feet of space, 3 fans for passive exhaust. Half the grow box is insulated atm so it brings it down to about a 1.5 or so cubic feet of space. The plants are mostly 3-4 weeks old with three 2 week seedlings; one has shown her pre-flowers as well. I'm wondering if I can swap out the blue lights for more red to increase branch length while I lst for 10-14 days. Has anyone done this? I won't be changing light cycle from 14/10 until this Friday and it's going to 18/6 for another week or so to increase growth during lst and possible even 24/0 for a few days. The plants are very bushy at the moment so they all fit in the box fine. After this next 14 days I plan to switch the light cycle to 12/12 and finally from 11/13 to 10/14 in flower. Any idea on the red spectrum during veg? I'm waiting until Friday because that will be the end of a very critical stage where I have been trying to keep the environment suitable for higher female to male ratio including but not limited to high humidity, blue lights, short days, high nitrogen etc as per several grow guide recommendations. I am aware of the effect that more red spectrum has on an increased male to female ratio which is why I am waiting until they are all sexed. Thanks. :peace:

Hey AllenHaze, sounds good so far....I think some Growers use both in 3:1 or so Ratio..not 100% sure but is Loads of Info floating around about this..I have also read the Blue lights/Red lights, Temps n Humidity effecting Male to Female Ratios..I didn't worry about it first couple of times(Was BagSeed) and now I'm on Fems...

Been Lucky so far I have....
