hi was wondering about a LED grow light need some good opinions

No dint get that light, for that price keep looking, check out the grows in the led section that are proving real results, and go from there, don't rush it, u will regret it

Look through journals and see what other people are growing with. No one can really recommend the panel you mentioned because its a no-name chinese panel, and its kind of taking a chance as to how well it will work.

I got a solaroasis pro5 or something it cost alot (450$), and only has enough lightspan to really cover 2 full grown or 4 smaller plants, easy to add more bars in circuit with each other(if you're rich) but they love it... as far as i can tell.. they are still only small... i just bought the first thing i saw hoped for the best ^.^ it has red blue green and orange leds... pretty hectic... it only consumes lke 9 watts or something so hopefully it isnt underpowered when they get larger...

Leds are awesome if you can spend some serious cash. If you only have 500 or so, start with HPS and save up for a good LED like a Black Dog. You will be disappointed with a cheap LED. If you read what all the haters say about LED it is cause they used a cheap panel. The guys on here who love LED either built their own or spent some money.

Yes be very careful when buying from China. Many of the "American" companies source there lights from there. Yet there are many rip off companies. You should check out ALIBABBA or ALIEXPRESS. They will hold your payment in escrow until you receive the product and ensure that it is what you purchased. If you want an ALL AMERICAN LIGHT check out California Light Works..... As other suggested LED is a different animal, read and reread all of the specifications and your return warranty policies.

yeah i thought it might be good but it was not intended for weed, had to send it back, wasnt working. LEDS SUCK =D
