high % of males?

I found something recently: a stressed(in this case- dried out) father can produce a high % of males. I found this out recently; as most of my malawi vortex were male; and usually I have 80% females. the seeds I recieved from potpimp were all males(cindy99). most of the seeds I recieved from elite genetics were also males(very expensive males!). I run biodynamic organics; so my plants are normally very healthy(barring failure to water due to irrational paranoia(thanks boss!)) who knows- maybe major stresses actually benefit the succeeding generations.- there's a vital area for further study.

Yeah stress in either parent will produce a higher number of males, this helps ensure future generations.

I agree........... an unstable male parent leads to mostly or all male plants. Got a bunch from British Columbia Seed Company once.

If you can breed a hermie fem with a fem to produced femenized seeds, then I don't see why you couldn't do the same for males. It's not just females that hermie. Simple Mendelian genetics.
