Ok, so I was wondering do Fluorescent lights that are over 100 Watts require ballasts to run like HID's?

cfls require a ballast, what do you think that white half-globe like thing is where the tubes come out? its self ballasted.

I'm pretty sure the 150w-200w requires a ballast. Everything is self-ballested if its compact-flouro

^^^^^^^^^^^^^ im sorry, i meant DOES NOT require a ballast.

no, i confused myself after i posted... it doesnt require a ballast, as i said.. do you see the halfglobe like thing where the tubes connect and it leads down into the socket? thats the ballast.. it is self-ballest

if you order that, just make sure you get the right spectrum... daylight for veg, warm for flower.
