Start it high, like at least 24", and as the plant gets adapted to it you can lower it slowly. But these are powerful lights, so you need to watch the plants and see how much they want. Some strains can also take more light than others.

I would turn it down to about 50% for the first couple of weeks. Then slowly increase the power after that. There should be 2 rubber caps that come off on top of the driver.
Only adjust the one that says IO though, you shouldn't need to touch the VO.

I find that my QB panels seem to work best for me @ 20" above the canopy. 50% power during veg and 100% in flower.

Here are my numbers.

Seedlings 32" - 40". Vegetative 24" - 28". Flower 16" - 18".

Edit: I usually run a 18/6 schedule in veg and start at 40" from the top of the soil. Let them grow for about two weeks and then lower the light to 28. Let them grow to 24" and keep the 24" until they start to flower. In flower i lower my light to 18" and keep it there.

Those work perfectly in a 2.5x2.5.

Super helpful! At what light levels are you at for these distances you noted? Are you adjusting using Vo or Io? Thank you kind person.
