I stopped reading this ultra-CON rag a long time ago. They seem to present the personal views of their Harper-hugging, bible-thumping 'journalists' as actual fact and expect the public to buy it. It's really quite pathetic,...reminds me of certain posters on here. Notice he didn't title the article " The Trudeaunization of the leaderless, directionless and policy confused conservatives. The Liberals are far from perfect, but the the alternative is just too fucking scary.

When you put them all together its hard to tell one from the other. Yes these are the people that you and I will support for the rest of our lives for the honour of them ramming their outdated ideals and dangerous misconceptions down our throats. In fact these ones are celebrating doing this for 150 years. To me it reminds me of a gang, a coordinated effort to enslave the masses.

Just for fun can you find wAlDo, I mean uNcLe bIlL ?

While that might be the case if we were a dictatorship, that is not the reality here. No government is going to be all things for all people. I don't support a lot (most) of the shit these morons do, but because I opted to vote for the guy that said he would legalize, somehow I'm their biggest fan? Fuck that. I have friends that have been growing and selling their whole lives and their livelihood is threatened by legalization. I get it. It is pretty selfish of them to expect the rest of us to except risking arrest by keeping the status quo and opposing any form of legalization. Like I told them, the free ride is over...go legit or get a real job. I prefer to protect my kids from a criminal record over protecting johnny weed grower's way of life.

Me, I like to keep their feet to the fire, it helps keep them honest. On the other hand I am not expecting any miracles. It has got to be a thankless job. I look at it as the squeaky wheel gets the grease...
There are so many facets to cannabis from the guy selling joints$, to the millionaire who just wants more $$$$$, and everyone else in between. Greed will win, it always does, the masses - less the activists - will accept whatever fate we are given, the lawyers will get richer and the politicians fatter.
I understand what you are saying, we are walking down the same path my friend. I have learned not to trust those wishing to control those around me. I have no illusions of being free - that ended. But I am no ones slave or pion. I live by a code older than their rules and their lies.
You always have good info and insights. You tell it the way you see it and I respect that. I hope one day we can sit in person, smoke some herbs, and laugh about the "old days". Till then keep up the good fight Chris.

your friends don't have anything to worry about for a while. the Governemnt will drive people to the BM because they have no clue about it.
if they sell it at $10/g straight up i would find a "friend" because they will sell cheaper.
i wish they would understand they have to make it cheaper than the current model in order for us to switch

there wont be any door kicking going on...
there wont be much of any kind of CONTROL that will work.
Even the regs they'll put in place will quickly see the gutter..as that's where the ideas came from in the first place.
They'll soon realize that peoples rights come far before the dollar does when it comes to forcing the sick into anything, including dying! ;)

I get it, you still don't see that the Liberals are just like Harper: They support C51, they support oil pipelines like keystone XL, they support a nanny state 'legalization' and the LPees, they support international trade deals that auction off the last semblances of Canadian sovereignty.

WTF? When Pierre T. was PM, feds were growing pot behind a fence in Ottawa. Libs are not Cons.
But you gotta watch the bible thumpers. Liars and con artists from day one, hide their true identity. Try to get in as Libs. The ex-preacher cherry denovo wants to be NDP leader.
Typical airheads. Pipelines are not perfect, but are the safest. Humans will use every drop of oil. Leave the tar sands till last if you like, makes no diff.
Read "HEAT" by George Monbiot, see how futile efforts to stop global warming are.
