damn, that blows! i was gonna put that shit in my current grow but never got around to it, next time i'm just gonna get a tank with regulator! it would pay for itself after one grow!!!!

Oh man, that sucks! I tried the whole CO2 bottle thing and it never really worked. I just don't buy into it. I can't imagine a plant needing to get that kind of push from a human when these things have been growing forever without our help with some yeast, sugar, and a bottle.

that's why you spend money on a tank and regulator instead of fucking up your plants and not making a difference. homemade co2 is pointless...not only do you not know the PPM your releasing, you also dont know how long it lasts at what levels.

Speaking of such, ive been using a nitrous cracker to bust open a 12gram co2 cartridge every couple nights in the grow closet. the whole closet is about 4x5 but only 1.5x4 is taken up by plants. I leave the fans off for a couple hours after i do.

So do u think this is at all beneficial

if you have no leaking then maybe, but like i said you dont know how many PPM your releasing so you don't know how long to wait before busting another one...if you have an exhaust fan(other than the ducting that runs at the end of a cooltube) i'd say your just wasting them

its pretty well sealed and all fans and exaust is off for a few hours after i do it. Really i doubt il buy more i just had a :hump:case laying around and thought waht the hell and started using them. Thanks for the reply..
