Homemade Compost Used as the Potting Soild for a Feminized Auto Flower?

I'm pretty big on composing. It helps recycle natural chemicals, and keeps the cycle of life moving along. I was wondering, if maybe I could use a half-and-half mix of normal potting soild and my own homemade compost soil. It's really fresh stuff, full of great nutrients. It this a good idea (all the things I'm scared of are, the pH level being too off-balance, the temperature, stuff relating to chemicals and temp basically). I'm confident that it will work in terms of providing kickstart nutrients, but after that I don't know....but after I germinate is it a good idea to substitute commercially available nutes for homemade compost soil?

Nothing wrong with compost. Its great stuff IMO.

If you are worried about ph just add about a cup of garden lime and mix, mix, mix it in. Lime will help create a mix with a ph of 7 and also provide calcium.

Happy Growing!

EDIT: 1 cup lime to 10 liquid gallons of soil/mix.
