Thanks in advance to anyone who has bred.

1. So what is the optimal time in the females life to be pollinated?
2. Is it possible to pollinate several budsites of a plant then leave other budsites to remain somewhat unseeded?
3. Are other females in the room at high risk of becoming seeded if u use the paintbrush on a different plant?(with the male in a different part of the house)
4 Are Future grows at risk of being seeded?
who wants +rep?

1.) approximately between 3-4th week of flowering for indicas... and with sativas between the 4-5th week...

2.) to put simply... yes... and it is done by alot of breeders commonly...

3.) turn off fans no sneezing and coughing and wear a surgical mask... seriously... and you'll be golden... unless you are one of those painters who fling paint like some new age crazy painter...;)

oh just saw #4.) no providing you give your area a good wipedown with a wet towel and light spraying of rubbing alcohol to finish the clean up... you shouldnt have pollen that is viable enough to pollinate future grows...

the fans are off during the paintbrushing... you can turn on the fans after you have finished brushing them as the resins and oils and little hairs that you brushed on there traps the pollen on them and does not allow wind to release the pollen so it is trapped...

if you want to be extra careful you can just do it right before lights off and by the time theyre back on 12 hrs later the next day lights on period just spray the bottom of the containers with a little mist (water only) all around and then cut the fans on and then back to normal whatever routine fits you best...
