"how can I dry my weed out the fastest so I can test it?" - If you like smoking joints, read this

Had a great idea during this morning's wake and bake.... but I'm sure it's done by others...

You know the constantly asked question from over eager (mostly newer) growers...

"How can I quickly dry some weed so I can consume it" ... I just asked this question on this site not more than a week ago...

Fuck, it's so simple.. this is how I'll do it going forward.

1- harvest into manageable length branches of delicious buds

2- wash and rinse branches of said gorgeous buds
(At the moment I simply use 1 cup of cheap 3% H2O2 to every 5 gal water in one bucket and clean filtered water in the 2nd bucket) bucket)

3- hang upside for the old school traditional dry (remove any remaining big fan leaves, etc, leaving only that 1 layer of sugar leaves)

4- remove layer of sugar leaves after 2-4 days (should be starting to crisp a little, this is primo for joints at this point); leave the branches undisturbed to dry (another 5-10 days in almost all cases)

There you have it!

This is the fastest (yet totally natural) way to enjoy some of your freshly harvested weed.

2-wtf washing buds! Thats a no no. Rinse clean when still on the living plant if you have to. Get yo shit together so you dont have to spray your plants.

4-why? Oh yeah you only harvest maybe an elbow lololol. But why? They are easier to remove after its dried and cured. Yet still takes 5-14 days to dry. You dont have control over your drying environment. 14 days is actually kinda slow not fast homie.

And why smoke sugar leaves? Best for hash or extracts. My smalls and larf is better than a lot of peoples 'buds'.

Please dont spread janky info bro. Theres a lot of people who can get confused.

I shred my wet larf in a giant grinder, dry between paper for a while, repeat until necessary. Aint gonna wait days to try leaves.

No point tho. Just tastes like plain sugar and has a boring high. If i wanted reggie I'd buy it from Mexico.

If its smokeable in joints after 2-4 days then you are drying way too fast. You will lose a lot of terpenes and trap chlorophyll in the plant material resulting in crapppy tasting buds

I'm not talking about smoking the buds in the 2-4 days.. was I not specific this is about smoking joints with the sugar leaves that crisp up fairly quickly?

Ahhh my bad I misunderstood

If I want to test a bud, I just let it dry out on the counter for a day or 2. I have really low RH here so it doesn't take long. It won't taste as great as slow dried buds, but it gives me an idea of the high.

Just make freezer / bubble hash with larf / trim .... rest of plant is hang drying.

Everybody will CRUCIFY me for this...before you do; I’m talking harvested and want to try a hit to get an idea of what I could be in for when I have dried and cured as should...ready ?

Break up a tester nug by fingers, place on doubled newspaper then fold it over onto itself. Place this over a lamp or near a wood stove...dries quickly. 0 taste really, but will let you know somewhat where the " high" is.
