How Do I Build a Grow Box? What Size Hps?

i wanna build a box that will hold 2 or 3 plants..
where do i start?
What size light i just read about that whole barrel of green thing looks crazy.. Cant really afford to drop 200 on a 400 wat hps tho what's the smallest light i can get away w/
dunno just looking for an easy inexpensive set up that i can grow during the winter with..

A good cheap way is getting a bunch of Cfl's

does that work heard you need some kind of halide to grow buds... dunno know about the heat it generates tho was thinkin' i have a few old computers and x-box's laying around was gonna tear em apart and use there fans to suck the hot air outta the box.....
what about the box itself could i just make it out of plywood lol??

Cfl for veg, but upgrade for flowering. Try not to cheap out on flowering lights, and dont cheap out on reflection.
Making a box is easy, but make it to your advantages as a small space can be better to grow in than a large space.
I do one plant at a time and my (box alone) cost $27 for mylar $8 for 2 large tri-fold cardboard display boards and $3 for a box of mini binder clips. Cut mylar to shape and use several clips to hold onto tri-fold display.
And theres a good box thats easy to move.

This plant was in veg under 10 CFL bulbs. Each bulb was 23w-1625lumans-6000k

Household cfls like that are hard to find now because LG and others dont manufacturer them anymore. Your grow stores still carry all sorts though a bit more in price but large output.
For flowering i switch over with a 400w HPS...
