How do I know when my Botanicare 10 gallon res is at 10 gallons

I'm just hoping there's a simple way to know when you're at 10 gallons in a 10 gallon res from botanicare.

I'm using the top of the bend on the inside of the plastic as an indicator, but I have no idea without measuring it out exactly.

Any tips? Or should I not be lazy and measure out 10 gallons. Why wouldn't they just put a simple marker on the inside?

Just fill it to the 10 gallon line.

That's the line you made on the outside marking the level of the 10 gallons that you put in.

bingo. you only have to measure it once.
