How do you know when to flush ?

How can you tell when it's time to flush your plants prior to harvest. I know the plant is ready when the trichs turn amber. But if I wait to see them then how can I give the coir a 1-2 week flush without getting degrading the THC during this time?

My plant is on day 49 of 12/12 and it could have anywhere from 1-4 weeks left. No amber trichs



I am planning to feed it for two more weeks then start a flush until amber

Soil and hydro are different. Soil growers don't flush when the soil is healthy. The fade is when you have soil that becomes depleted of nutrients at the very end of the grow and the fade or yellowing of the big fan leaves is achieved by giving water as needed but no more nutrients.

Yea you're right. This thing is flopping so bad it's probably going to topple over one of these days unless I do something.

any guesses on how long I have left? I am hoping it could be as little as two weeks. I am moving in 3 so the race is on!

they look great.. i'm another believer in no flush needed.. maybe a courtesy flush if the bathroom is crowded, i kid, i kid.. but serious on the no flushing.
i'd say maybe another 2 weeks or so, they look pretty close to me. i like to wait until all of the pistils, hairs, have all mostly receded back into the buds where they came form, as well as the calyx will look nice and swollen when they get ready to come down..
