How I hung my fan.

This is how I hung my exhaust fan. I have about the same thing that sits on a shelf in another room but one time that fan got separated from the filter just enough and it suck in the stink and pushed the stink out of the house. So I added the bungee cords to keep the filter tight to the fan, that's the new idea and I used other bungees to mount to ceiling to keep the vibration down to a minimum that's the old idea. Where the filter meets the fan I have grey duct tape wrapped around the fan and then the filter gets pressed against that and it acts like a seal, the bungee keeps it tight to the fan and the white duct tape is just for insurance that i don really need. Hope this give you an idea on how to hang a fan. It goes out the wall then back in through my lights and then back out to my exhaust area. Between me and the filter is my lights you just cant see them. Its a room inside of a room, and not that big so no room for ducting inside of it. And by removing one bungee by the fan then slide the prefilter off a little and holding the other end up with your hand you can change the prefilter in just a few minutes too. no need to take it down to do that.
