How late can I start?

I'm going to be moving down to Mississippi here in about 3 weeks. I'm forced to leave the garden i have here (Illinois) to the mercy of the wilds. How late can I start in the southern states? Since it doesn't frost there (he lives close to the coast) can I just grow all year round? Never had any contact with a climate that doesn't involve snowfall.

i grow mid alantic early spring veg indoor 24 hrs 1 month then put out early march with temps in 40's for quick may harvest with temps in 60's 70's,they produce less but i think quality is better than the summer plants that flower in the 80's 90's of august.Outside of the humidity being a problem down there id say you could have year round harvest vegin indoors just check temps for area and a day length calander see how long you got sub 14hrs light flowering withlonger days than that seems to make flowering take much longer and the flower grows long and stringy least thats how it works here
