I wouldnt keep it longer than a week but that is just my personal opinion. You definately need to check the PH after its been sitting.

Agree... as long as the container, jug is sealed, it should be alright.. shouldn't have to worry about pH...

I accidently left a 1/2 gallon of water + nutes + molasses for about 3 weeks until I found it... I didn't test the pH, but i can tell you it was VERY VERY STANKY!!! Like the shit had fermented or something... lol

thanks guys, appreciated
I often wonder this myself but never asked. I normally mix my powder nutes with the water I have left sitting over 24 hours just before watering my girls. Is it better to mix the nutes and let sit overnight before watering? As long as the tea does not go bad overnight I would think its beneficial to allow it to fully dissolve as long as PH isnt an issue. I have tried both ways but too stoned to be consistent enough to tell which way works better.

Only your plants can tell you the answer imo. It depends too much on resevoir size, how often the plants feed, and how well their "food" is dialed in to what they need. Two weeks is the longest I've ever gone, but 10 days is pretty normal for me.

with organic fertilizers over 4 days with the same solution sounds crazy to me.
with chemical nutes, or hydro designated nutes, I would guess 2 weeks is fine. I've seen people who change the rez only once every 3 weeks.
it depends much on the temp of the rez, how airproof it is, your fert. brand and how well you circulate the solution inside. and of course using tap water with that would be much more of a problem than using RO water.

Never used a rez. over 1 week so i don't know much about it. I just like to hand water my plants :D
