How Many Low Ryders can i Fit into a 1.2Meter Tent

Hi this is my second grow i went out and bought a phillps 400w metal hallide and a powerplant super 600w hps i also have a lumteck 600w ballast with super lumens . my tent is 1.2meter square does any one know how many i can get in befor it starts over crowding a mate of mine said that if u double up on the pots i should be able to put in about 18 is her right? i think that would be aa bit much any thoughts?? ps my seeds are lowryder number 2

Hi im using almost same setup but im using 3 gallon square pots and im putting 8 plants in that tent

i would say 18 sounds like a bit of a push but in saying that my tent is only 60cm wide and deep and iv got 5 in it so the maths on your tent holding 18 is reasonable. taller pots is the way to go to squeeze more in man

im having the same size of area and my first grow i had 14 other strains and it was plenty of space so easily 18 ,,just switch places with the pots sometimes and when you watering them do as they do with fine wines and turn the pots a little bit,,i did so and it went out great for me,, now i have 12 and there are loot of room..

what gallon or litre pots are you guys using ??

you could put 25...5x5

I do 12-16 plants in a 2'x5' box easy. in cheap round 59c. 2gal pots..

ok by that logic he would grow only 1 then...lol...

hahaha ... it is logical ... kinda...

if you fit 8 in (for example) at a squeeze they won't perform aswell as 4 with space around them... they will compete for light if they are squashed in shoulder to shoulder and that will result in lower yeilds

do 4 .... then the other 4 ... get the best out of them

This might give you a better idea of how many plants will fit in your space.


My grow tent is 55"x55" or 20.6 sq ft(1.9m2) I have six plants in 5 gal(US) pots, 3 plants in 3 gal pots and 3 re-veg in a 2.5 gal pot. So for 1.9m2 I can fit 9 plants in 5 gal pots/16 plants in 3 gal pots/20 plants in 2 gal grow bags.
