how much could i yield

if i bought 1000 watt light system how many plants could i have under it with SOG method and how much would i harvest i know what im doing so i think i could get the max yield

It depends on how you set up your SOG...how much you prune the plant, what strains your growing, etc... Pretty basic guideline for 1000w hps is about an 8 x 8 foot area. With an SOG setup this may be stretching the limits as the light tends to be slightly more concentrated in a smaller area, but you can make it work.

I would think a couple of pounds could be easily achieved. If you know what you're doing, surely you have an estimate in mind yourself.

yah i've just never grew with a 1000 watt light im gonna be moving out with a really well trusted friend known him for 9 years and gonna start growing to help pay the bills so what would be the best way to yield 3 pounds in three months that would be fucking awesome

with 1 1000w doesn't matter how many plants you have. you'll probably only get 1.5lbs and that's if everything is on point. if you're an og pro you can probably pull 2lbs off 1 1000w but that's pretty much 1g per watt which i've never seen done before. so if you're looking to get 3lbs then i recommend doing 2 1000w and nice yeilding strain. LUI, CM, Ak, BB, Chronic, Kush, American Dream, there's too many to name. Good luck bro!!

so with one 1000 watt light i one 600 watt light i could prolly come close to my goal

depending on the strain i say you'll probably get around 2! are you doing organic or hydro? also what strain are you growing?

i get about 1.5 out of a 1000 watt, grown in potting soil, with an automatic watering system. 16 plants in a 4'wx4'd'5'h grow box. doubled the harvest by adding an air cooled hood. 2 can fans in the box (also cool my clone closet), pulling about 800-900 cfm...

keeping the temps down has worked miracles...
