hi i am thinking about growing AK47 but in dwarf does anybody know what the min light is for theese plants and has anyone had any sucess. i have been told that i will need a 1000 watt light but how many plants will that do. i am at the moment growing arjans haze#1 and in 5th week of flowering but it is now growing across the ceiling and i just find it to big to control so i thought that dwarfs might be better. your input would be much appreciated.

what light are you using for your other plant? you can use anything from a window to cfls to hid, but around 45000 lumens should be the ideal rule of thumb for any plant.

you need 5-7000 lumens per square foot. 400w hps = about 50,000 lumens ,600w = about 95000, 1000 = about 150,000 divide lumens by square feet of your room and you have an answer

indoors you should never grow a plant that big. no light will penetrate that deeply... veg until the plant is like a foot tall and it should stay under 3 during flower.. really you should lern to train it so the canopy is all the same hight so the whole plant gets even lighting.. no need for a dwarf

yea you should always expect em to grow 3 times ther size when you start flowering. after the first like 3 weeks or so of flowering the growth spert will stop
