how stretched are these ? your opinion please

ok so these are my friends plants at 5 weeks from seed under a 400wtt mh 24/0 and light was and still is 14" away. i'm trying to tell him they are stretched out a bit. and he needs to lower his light. your thought on these. don't get me wrong the plants are nice and healthy and green, beautiful plants. your imput please, thanks

I was expecting much worse, but yeah, they're a little stretched. Nothing dramatic, though. Putting the light closer is still a good idea.

i didn't take a pic. of it but as the plant is getting closer to the light you can clearly see the nodes are extremely closer together. i even point that out to him but didn't really sink in what i was trying to tell him. he should do fine he will loose a little yield i would think.
