how tall is that auto in the window

I got some seeds mixed up, one plant is 45" do autos grow that high? or is this photo? At 6 weeks I had to
cut the lights to 12x12 to get it to flower. I am scared to go to 18/6 now it may hermie? Any kind of help will be much appreciated!!

45" sounds a bit tall if it's not flowering. Every once in a while you hear about auto seeds that don't autoflower, or people having to induce flowering.

If you had to flip to 12/12 it's not an auto, at least not a good one.
True autos will flower regardless of the light cycle.

sounds non-auto to me... I usually ONLY grow autos.. ive done 4 photo and the other 7 plants ive grown have all been auto... my autos finish like.. at harvest anywhere from 18 inches tall to one i have right now that is 3 feet 2 inches or 38 inches tall. tallest auto ive ever gotten in 5 gallon pot was 3 1/2 feet and it gave me 1/4 pound dry AKA 3.5 oz's

Auto Amnesia in 4 gallon coco hempys. 47 and 54 inches from soil. I've seen a lot of pics of 4+ foot autos.

I may be wrong but... AKA your a half a Oz from that 1/4 pound bro 4OZs=1/4Pound

454 grams / 4 = 113.5 /28.5 = 3.982

1/4lb is indeed 4 ounces

other pics auto seeds purple cheese - 38 inches tall and alot more bud sites (LST'd though)

52" tall girl .... 3 gallon plant - 14 weeks for harvest
Overall a very underperforming plant. She was moved to outdoors once the stretch finally stopped and received dusk to dawn lighting.

I had small nugs and really did not yield what i had hoped for such a large girl. Genetics really misfired as i originally had to flip her into flower and she didnt act like an auto.

That sort of stretch and lack of fullness has more to do with the light. If you low stress trained the plant by keeping it shorter you could have kept the light much lower to the whole plant vs just the top cola. Autos can get lanky very fast and that never yields well.

As for the op question.. autos vary in size just like everything else. Lots of factors play a role. By having a single CFL bulb you could probably grow a 6 foot auto. Last year I grew my tallest autos that were very heavy yielders and just under 6 feet. The reason they grew so tall was that we're limited in the square footage.
