so i have my CLF light bulbs but other than screwing them into a lamp i have no idea how to make them usful to my plants.. What type of socket do i need to get and were can i get that here in america

Sounds like you don't have a clue! Are you sure that you have the right spectrum of CFL? What you want are 6,500 Kelvin for veg and 2,700 Kelvin for flowering. About 5-7 thousand lumens per square foot of growing area.so i have my CLF light bulbs but other than screwing them into a lamp i have no idea how to make them usful to my plants.. Next, you need to spend more time at the hardware store (with your eyes open this time!). Ace Hardware, Tru-Value, Home Depot, Lowe's, any hardware store! Look in the electrical dept. (Duh!)
I don't mean to sound like an ass hole - but you really need to get out more, and read while you're at it!
