How to make Colloidal Silver to make Feminized seeds

I'll tell you ppl right now, you won't find anything that has any hope of working in stores! Those are all made of small clusters of elemental silver.. The exception being salts of silver like silver nitrate, or silver thiosulfate..
If you're dead set on trying silver in elemental form, then just dress your plants with some bling..
BLING! LOL So the Colloidal Silver the breeders use is different from the stuff made by pharmaceutical companies how?

The naming is often bastardized, kind of like how ppl use 'Xerox' for photocopiers in general..
Wiki says this about 'colloids'
A colloid is a type of chemical mixture in which one substance is dispersed evenly throughout another.[1] The particles of the dispersed substance are only suspended in the mixture, unlike in a solution, in which they are completely dissolved. This occurs because the particles in a colloid are larger than in a solution - small enough to be dispersed evenly and maintain a homogeneous appearance, but large enough to scatter light and not dissolve. Because of this dispersal, some colloids have the appearance of solutions.
Every plant study I've seen has used solutions of silver salts, and I've never heard it called colloidal in those.. The best 'colloidal' silver for health and whatnot will be the least ionic.. They want big-ass particles to slow down ionic activity.. Like I said, if you were to drink ionic silver, it would instantly react with your stomach acid and precipitate as silver chloride.. Bigger particles have a chance to linger and drop the odd ion here and there..
So if the labs are using 500-1000ppm of 'ionic' silver, you'd need enough 'colloidal' silver to get that dropped ion count up to 500-1000ppm to match it.. The other silver would be irrelevant..

I see the part per million is much lower on the health related colloidal silver, even if the size is sub microscopic.

I did find this though

It it a matter of saving $29.95, because both .999 pure silver, and batteries aren't cheep?

How does Cl-one Sex Reversing Agent Work?
Cl-one is acts as an Ethylene inhibitor in Dioecious Plants. When used as directed, Cl-one will make a female plant grow male flowers. When grown to maturity these male flowers produce the Female Pollen. Cl-one is safe and easy to use.

Cl-one Sex Reversing Agent FAQs.
1. Does Cl-one cause the resulting offspring to have hemaphroditic tendencies?
No. Cl-one doesn't stress the plant at all. If the subject plant is stable, then the offspring will be stable as well. Cl-one shouldn't be used on plants that tend to hermaphrodite or ones that are subject to stress.

2. Is Cl-one safe to use?
YES. When used as directed Cl-one is safe.

3. What if it doesn't work?
We have a 100 % guarentee, and if you're not happy after using the product as directed we will offer replacement product.

4. Has this Cl-one been tested?
YES. Until now this type of product was available to select seed banks. It has been tested intensively and is the safest and most reliable metohod for producing Feminized Seeds.

5. How many plants can I use one bottle on?
That depends...the size of the plants have will dictate how much of the product you will use. The 8 ounce size is good for about two complete cycles.

6. Can I change a male plant inot a female?
NO. Cl-one only works in Female to Male conversion.

Directions for use:
Spray plant surfaces on first day of flowering cycle. Reapply every two weeks untill two weeks remain in flowering cycle.

You posted my article to create this thread, but I noticed you editted parts of it out (including the photos, and names of people i've thanked), and not giving any credit

So for anyone interested here is my original, unedited post ... http://www.icmag.com/ic/showthread.php?t=60610

I hope everybody has been able to have the same success i and many others have had. :)

both are great threads and i wonder were i can get some cl- one

Fat chance anybody see's this, but i'll give it a shot anyways. it says .99 silver, but i've heard diffrent. I can't exactly remember what the number was but it was in the 90's. The theory is that .99 silver is what you need for human consumption, and you can use a slightly lower grade of silver for plants. Can anybody put some input in on this. I guess it kinda makes sense, but i still want to hear from somebody that knows fersure.

you only have to use the 99.999 silver IF YOUR GOING TO DRINK IT.

for herming a plant, you CAN use sterling ( in a pinch) BUT silver coinage is best and cheapest . get yourself a couple of cheap silver quarters. there 97 percent silver and work great. they tell you to use pure silver and not sterling or jewelry silver if your going to drink it because sterling and jewelry silver ( including us coinage) has nickel and copper in it, which is poisonous to ingest.

also, make your CS up as you need it as it only takes a few minutes, dont have it sitting around cause accidents can happen such as spraying a plant with CS when you only wanted to mist it with regular water. ive made CS right in the spray bottle.

oh i have fem seed and male/females also. its just some strains(clone only) without lots of work back crossing are not available in normal male/female seed form. so i make s-1's or fem clone only crosses to preserve some great strains in seed. if i lose my clones and cannot find new ones its like strain insurance otherwise if its a standard strain i use normal seeds. im also working with back crossing to make og kushes and bubbas in male/female format as close to the original clone as possible this just takes a while.

this is what i was talking about before. as soon as you make fem seeds from a clone nly strain, its no longer clone only. ive made seeds this way for years, and in most cases, if you grow enough of the seeds, youll get a straight male you can cross back to one of your females.

why does colloidal silver turn gold sometimes? i saw this dude on youtube who heated the water as the process went on, and it turned yellow/gold. does it have the same effects in that form?

9v battery works gotta link 3 of them together

excuse my cut and paste

Colloidal Silver is pure, metallic silver (the element), in particles of 15 atoms or fewer, each with a positive electric charge. These particles of silver are extremely small, usually ranging from about 0.001 to about 0.01 microns in diameter. They are suspended in deionized water. The force of the electric charge is stronger than the force of gravity, so the silver particles remain suspended.

How is it Made?
A small electrical current is passed through distilled water and pure silver electrodes.

Lets Make the Generator
Materials;
-3 9V batteries
-Two alligator clips
-Silver Wire, Coin, or block (99%Pure or higher)
-Wiring
-Jar of distilled water
-(Optional) Air-pump and Air-stone to keep water moving

Attach the Batteries together and to the alligator clips. Then Attach the alligator Clips to 2 pieces of silver. Drop them half way in the water, but don't let the alligator clips touch the water. In about 8 hours you should have colloidal silver.

Using Colloidal Silver for Feminized Seeds
By spraying a colloidal silver solution on a female plant every few days starting a couple of days before switching the photoperiod to 12/12, the female plant should produce some male flowers. Collect the pollen from these male flowers and pollenate either the same female or another female. Since the pollen was made from a female plant the genetics should be all female, therefore the seeds created should be 100% Female.

Note: Don't drink this colloidal silver solution. If done correctly the PPM will be too high for human consumption. The popular alternative medicine version of this contains very little PPM.
