how to move my day time to diferent hours

i need to switch the day time in my growroom from 11pm lights on and 5 pm lights off im trying to make my lights on at 6pm and off at 12 am,is there a way for me to do this whitout risking my plants to go hermie on me

that sounds scary, i am a newbie but i too would like to know if thats possibl with all the rules on times.....
