How to power my lights sealthily <----- is that a word?

I was wondering if there are any options to power my ligths secretly, a buddy of mine said i could get a battery that sucks up power 24/7 mimicing a heater or ac unit and power my ligths from that??? has anyone heard of this, the reason i am asking is because i live in a small town where i have no doubt the cops have nthing better to do than go down to the electric company and ask if anyone has 2000w coming on and off every 12 hours.

2000w running 24/7 won't even raise an eyebrow. don't worry about
