Took me building a system that is now basically spare parts and trash to learn the intake tube to water pump needs to be significantly smaller than the tube or pipe connecting each bucket as a system to keep the water level the same thought the buckets. Simple plumbing I just overlooked it and same size tube all the way around with too strong of a pump. Now I can run any pump and water stays level

The MUST have aquarium seal and some nice drill bits! 1" bulkheads, the 3/4" inline water filter, some barbed tees, and a few happy plants. For those that are curious it's mahogany cut offs from some NICE window sills.

Use your water pump and disconnect it.from the delivery to water fall hose and reconnect an extra long hose to that and p UT the other end to either ur sink, toilet, or tub/empty bucket whatever is closest and makes the.most sense for you. Hint use some 2x4s.and.add.a tilt toward your I uttake port that leads to your tee to your water.pump return hole.

U could also put the water pump in each bucket.and let it pump out what it can and maybe even tilt each bucket with a 2x4 toward the end with the return ports Or how about a shop vac?

To empty mine, I just connect a hose to the tube that comes into my rez. Flush most of the water out. Fill it back up, drop my meter in and flush and refill at the time time until the ppm is the same as tap..

Really nice !!! gotta try this in two or three crops more :joint: Never heard of Cole Train, I'm a big fan of coltrane so I guess I'll love it e.e

Please, would this cajas-organizadoras-plasticas-g-310-anidables-50-litros-12874-MLC20068130516_032014-F.jpg 50L box be useful for two plants, or should I put only one and LST a lot?

this system is great. Literally you plants cant fail.

uniseals 1.5 inch work fine. 2 icnh are perfect. you dont need any larger.

some one mentioned biiger pipe more flow. this is not correct. the under flow is dependent on the pump and how much its pulling. so get a bigger pump but not too big to have resivour too low.

other trick I learned. use a timer on pump. 15 min one, 15 off. will keep water cool, no chiller.

I think you can get a "plaster mixing bucket" or "dog bath" in 120 or 125L and 160 or 165L I would give them a try but plenty of people pulling in good yields with 20 to 60L tubs
